For many years, PTFE friction bearings made of Elringplast J, LD and W2 have been the bushing of choice in specialised machine design with critical operating parameters. The development of the new dry friction bearing made of Moldflon® (thermoplastic process-able PTFE) has made it possible to further improve characteristics that are critical to friction bearings, e.g. compressive strength and wear resistance.
